Im just getting into them, sorry :P

    Suggest their best songs..(have Megalomaniac)

The song Megalomaniac is okay, but I would be better off not knowing that if was not about George Bush. I just can’t get past the idea that they wrote a whole song about him…I could just imagine them coming up with the idea for it…

Vocalist (stoned off his ass) walks in. “Hey guys, I got this sweet idea for our next single.”

Guitarist (also stoned): “What is it, man?”

    Vocalist: “Get this…”

    ::suspensful pause::

    Vocalist: “George W. Bush.”

Bassist (he too is stoned): “Yeah…wait, what?”

Vocalist: “Trust me man, it’ll be cool. We’ll write about how he’s, like an anti-Christ. I mean, just think, people will totally dig the message.”

Drummer (guess what? he’s stoned): “Dudes, is it just me, or is the room spinning?”

And that’s the conclusion of Incubus Masterpiece Theater. Join us next week when we cover the song ideas that didn’t make it onto the album.

    hahahahahaha

um every incubus song is pretty much awesome (and i’ve listened to their entire cds) each cd has a different flavor

S.C.I.E.N.C.E. – funky.. lots of interesting sounds going on
Make Yourself – breakthrough album.. good singles
Morning View – beautiful emotional songs
A Crow Left of the Murder – edgier, solid album (i gotta listen to it more)

but overall i think Pardon Me is still my top favorite Incky song. you just can’t beat it even with a stick. oh and pardon me acoustic is the best acoustic version of a rock song EVER!!!

Well, if your one of those people who MUST have the original copies of CD’s then go for it, but I’d definately rather download them… and if you must have headphones, you made a good selection, those headphones are the best. But all headphones get uncomfortable after a while, so your better off sticking with speakers and regular street style headphones for cheaper.

im using these flimsy portable ones over 3/4 of my day on this comp, and since i do that everyday, i want very good quality sound, which those give all in your ears :D but…Shiznit , thats a bad choice? i cant agree with you there. find me better under that price.

I never said it was a bad choice, I just couldn’t care less about which headphones you plan to purchase. Maybe if it were a car, or a monkey, then it would have my interest. But headphones? Not so interested… lo siento.

Holy crap, $100 dollars? You’re friggin’ crazy to spend so much on headphones. I could buy a cheap 5.1 surround sound system for my computer and still have $30 left over to spend with that money. You don’t need expensive headphones like that.

    Led Zeppelin III
Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy
Incubus A Crow Left to the Murder
    Incubus S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
    Incubus Morning View

they didnt have Make Yourself though.

I can almost completely declare that everyone besides on this board is in favor of PS2 and nothing else. :?

And Zelda IS a fun game, give it a try.It definitly doesnt live up to OOT, but it is a unique game, in a good way.Everything moves fluidly, and it has a good exploring sense to it, going to different islands by sailing the ocean and all.I found it very good.

And I must ask, Trienish, how far did you get?Dont bash the game until you can fully tell every aspect.Simply playing a demo or shortly playing wont get you a valid opinion.Im guessing thats what you did, but lets see until you respond.

  • #10079

I think I stopped after the Temple of Time, or whatever you call the underwater castle. I might have gotten farther, I can’t really remember. If I had only played the demo I would have said so. You assume I have this bias against the game, but I don’t. I’ve played the game and I don’t like it. I liked it when I first started, I enjoyed the gameplay and I love how they brought back the boomerang. I thought I would enjoy it more than OOT because it seemed to resemble LTTP more than the other games.

Having a giant ocean separate everything is the most frustrating thing in the game. It’s annoying to have to travel back and forth across the world on a ship, with just water out in front of you. I want a kingdom to explore, not an ocean.

Well what you have to realize is, every Zelda game cant be the same.Nintendo was trying to do something different this time around, and it worked out fine.Something new.
Also another thing, a little before the middle of the game (after the Tower of Gods) you can get a song that allows you to warp to vertain places on the world map.(think LTTP with the flute)So that really saves alot of traveling time. The game actually feels like it has more freedom and you can slo do more things after the Tower of Gods, so I would probably recommend giving it another chance and getting past that point. There are as well many sidequests and extras to do.

When I said Playstation, based on sales, if it got those software titles, there would be no reason to buy the other consoles, making Playstation the ONLY console availible.

It’s not like I favor anything in particular. I’ve had a slow computer for a long time. Hardware does play a part, but the software is what you’re really buying a console for. I enjoyed Halo for Xbox quite a bit, but X-box doesn’t have much of a selection of games that I’m interested in so I wouldn’t go out and buy it. Gamecube targets younger audiences, and theres nothing wrong with that. But I can’t find myself playing Mario Sunshine over and over. Theres only 3-4 games I’d probably really enjoy out of the entire collection so far. I don’t think it’d be a good investment.

Jesus Christ, what do you want from me? I said I hated the game, so you said I didn’t give it a chance. When I tell you I gave it a chance, now you say I should give it another chance.

Don’t bother me about this issue, I do not like the game. I haven’t played it in nearly a year. I got the Warp Song, and you know what? I still hate the idea of a fucking ocean separating every damn thing. The warping in WW doesn’t even compare to the flute in LTTP. In LTTP you could warp to places you needed to go, palaces and towns. In WW, the warp just transports you to some middle of nowhere area of the ocean. You still have to travel to whatever town or dungeon you are trying to reach.

The sidequests might be fun, but I’m not going to cross the ocean again and again so that I can do them all. I’m not fucking stupid either, I know every Zelda game has to be different, but why completely erase the exploration in the game by putting everything on islands. I haven’t even talked about how much I hate the look of the game either. I can deal with cel-shading, but I can’t deal with how the character designs look like a child drew them. I know the game is supposed to appeal to children, but that doesn’t mean it has to be made by children.

First saying going across the ocean is too much, then warping to certain places is still not good? :? Well Trienish complained about that part.

But Gary, you havent even played the game, so dont jump to conclusions just yet.Dont base the game on someone else’s opinion.

Well first of all, your basing this “everyone” on the very few of this board.Go to places such as GameFAQs and you wont get everyone hating it, in fact the majority Ive seen enjoy it.
Just play the damn game and decide if you like it or not. This is directed to Gary.

Hahaha, that’s your justification? You’re contradicting yourself, you said that Gary shouldn’t base the game on someone else’s opinion. But in that statement, you call in the opinions of all those outside this board that consider Zelda a good game. And of course by “everyone” I meant all the people on this board, fucktard. We’re the ones who are talking about it. I don’t see GameFAQs people walking into this forum to agree with you. Go back to your GameFAQs Zelda haven, fanboy.

GameFAQs is a very biased in favor of RPG’s and Nintendo, so I wouldn’t count their opinion as the ultimate authority anyway.

First of all, this arguement has gone on too long. I NEVER said that that I liked or didn’t like the game, I told you I’ve never played it, and I never said I wouldn’t try it. All I mentioned was the fact that I didn’t like the graphics. That’s all… as for GameFaqs, the only thing I use their forums for is for occasional game help when the guides on IGN don’t explain enough. I haven’t been playing many games lately and don’t really care. If I ever get my hands on a used gamecube down the road, it’ll be fun for a while but probably get the same treatment as the $30 Dreamcast thats collecting dust on my bottom shelf.
