    Silent Hill 3 – You’re Not Here

    Game: Silent Hill 3
    Developer: Konami
    Publisher: Konami
    Platform: Playstation 2
    Year: 2003
    Composer: Akira Yakaoma

Players of Silent Hill know that the series doesn’t have much as far as music goes. The series relies purely on sound effects and visuals in order to scare. Where Resident Evil simply tries to get a shock out of you, the Silent Hill series would much rather scar you. The white noise emmanting from your radio, signaling that an enemy is near, but the endless darkness and thick fog make it impossible to see the creature until it is in striking distance. Although, I felt Silent Hill 3 was the weakest game in the series, the music is an improvement over the previous installments.

    Blue sky to forever,
The green grass blows in the wind, dancing
It would be much better a sight with you, with me,
If you hadn’t met me, I’d be fine on my own, baby,
I never felt so lonely, then you came along,

So now what should I do, I’m strung out, addicted to you,
My body it aches, now that you’re gone,
    My supply fell through,

You gladly gave me everything you had and more,
    You craved my happiness,
When you make me feel joy it makes you smile,
But now I feel your stress,
Love was never meant to be such a crazy affair, no
And who has time for tears,
Never thought I’d sit around and cry for your love,
    ’till now.

I wish someone would recognize that I made a new topic…

Right now it’s very early in the morning and I’m going to sleep depressed…

Well, it’s good to know you care about your topic. Hmm, those lyrics sound remarkably “emo”-ish.

Maybe they are emo, but it doesn’t sound so bad when a woman is singing them.
